That is the question I had when I first heard about the church. Then I found out it is a community in the northern part of Kingsport.

From Johnson City, TN:

Take I-26 W / US-23 N toward Kingsport

I-26 will end and turn into US-23 N

Take the Lynn Garden Dr. / TN-36 N exit

At the light, turn left onto Lynn Garden Dr.

At the next light, turn left again onto W Carters Valley Rd

First Free Will Baptist Church will be on the right.

From Church Hill, TN:

Take TN-346 N toward Kingsport

Stay on Carters Valley Rd for about 11 1/2 miles

First Free Will Baptist Church will be on the left.

From Gate City, VA:

Take US-23 S toward Kingsport

When you cross into Tennessee,

turn right onto W Carters Valley Rd

First Free Will Baptist Church will be on the right.
